Blogging Your Way To God: Prayer Blogs
There are countless blogs on the internet:. blogs for gossip and blog for humor; there are blogs for making money and blogs for taking money; there are even blogs about blogs. However, how many blogs journey into the realm of the spirit? How many people venture to share with others a glimpse into their own spiritual life through their own online blog? How many blogs actually let you peek into the personal conversations that take place between the blogger and God?
This article is an attempt to encourage others to try using free blogs online as a means for conversing with God. I know you may not want to include in your blog the deepest, most personal jottings; but I would like to see more prayer blogs online. More blogs like this online would manifest that there is still moral people out there on the internet.
I know there are many websites about churches and many blogsites that quote the Bible. These are all good and necessary. I would, however, like to see more blogs where writers allow others to see their own personal talks with God.
I, myself, started my personal prayer blog last year. I have found that blogging in this fashion has brought me closer to Jesus. I don't share my secret thoughts; but, do share those which effect others I come in contact with. My blog is called: "Day to day with Jesus" and can be found at http://littlefranciscan.blogspot.com
I put a link to my blog on my personal webpage; but, if you want to keep your blog personal and simply for yourself; don't tell anyone about it. I think, however, sharing with others can help others start a relationship with God. It will show others that Prayer doesn't have to be a formal set of prayers; althought there is a place and time for such prayer as well. If you are a child of God, why not help others on their journey to God; and what better way to come to God then prayer?
Think about it: the psalms are merely a conversation with God; an extra long journal between God and a soul. It contains everything. We read the Bible daily, many of us. We have found that reading the writings of others that have been inspired by God helps us. Can we not do the same? Can we not compose our own psalms that can reach out and assist others on their own personal journey to God?
I know my blogs sometimes may show my vunerability and human weakness but I want others to know that I too struggle. I have my own days when things go wrong and I have found that writing down my prayers to God: my letters to Jesus, has helped me surmount many a hurdle.
Blogging has become popular; I would like to invite all my readers to blog for Jesus: to blog for God.
If you make your blog a prayer then you will not have to worry about words or grammar: God doesn't. Let your feelings and emotions pour out across the screen and remember to do all this for the greater honor and glory of God.

Why do atheists think god doesn't exist?
there's no proof to this theory, you'd think they would use their brain and not jump to a conclusion based on blind faith since they believe so much in science and only believing in things that can be proven.
im gonna go ahead and include answers to your bland arguments so save them, come up with something new.

yeah there is you just choose to ignore it because science can't explain it because the subject matter isn't empirical (note: SCIENCE IS FLAWED)

There's no reason to believe giant space ants live on the far side of the moon, so of course i don't believe that. There is a lot of evidence for God on the other hand.

I'm sorry i'm talking about God, not Earth or human beings.

You can't say use your point as your starting point of reason, you have to prove God doesn't exist first. Sorry but that video didn't prove anything.

How am i a hypocrite? i never stated to believe or have faith in anything, i'm merely asking about atheists here.
And, in my opinion, there's no reason to believe in God. So, could you please now produce your 'lot of evidence' rather than just giving another general answer?
Okay my evidence is existence itself, now science and reason may say there's no need for a god for everything to exist. "A quantum fluctuation within the singularity before the big bang" is not another way of saying something can come from nothing, cause a quantum fluctuation is something itself, what caused this fluctuation? Don't have the answer? Why be so foolish to believe it just happened for no reason, all the complexities of our reality just formed randomly and with no design, it just happened to form living organisms out of mere chance? That sounds pretty far fetched to me.

I am still in love with her after two years....what should I do?
I don't know where to begin because it is a long story but this is near and dear to my heart. I have been in love with this Indian female for over two years now. I am a white italian male. We met in a bar and became friends over time. She was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. She was in a bad relationship that has been on and off for many years. He was basically a 29 y.o. with no direction in his life who partied, cruised the internet and smoked pot. He treated like she was a nobody and even told her that she would always be last in his life. She thought he was just acting this way. As time went on I fell in love with the real her and not the low self esteem person she had become because of being with this guy for so long. Deep down I know she had feelings for me because her initial reaction was to always accept my offer to go out but then she would tell me she couldn't because she had a boyfriend. As we became more involved she started to initiate all of our contact. To make a long story short she eventually chose him over me and we went our seperate ways. I have been asking GOD for 13 months to help her and recently I found out that he did. I used to follow her on twitter but then I stopped because the pain was too strong and I couldn't handle it. Yesterday something told me to go and check her tweets again and I found out she is no longer with him and has changed jobs. Later on in the afternoon I felt something again and this time something told me to go and check the same dating site I have a profile on and see if she was there and she was there.
