Urban Meyer Blows Up At Florida Practice
I could be wrong about this but didn't Florida head coach, Urban Meyer retire? Oh that's right, Meyer changed his mind a week later. It appears Meyer is back in charge at Florida and on the attack. Meyer
John Brantley "pure passer."
The story that appeared on Fowler's blog (view here) on the Orlando Sentinel website, was an interview with Deonte Thompson, a wide receiver for the Florida Gators. The interview was actually conducted with several reporters involved who also reported Thompson's comment. In Fowler's story, Thompson expounded on the fact that he and incoming quarterback John Brantley had connected for several hundred passes in practice and he was looking forward to playing with a "pure passer."
The quote Urban Meyer took offense to followed. Thompson was quoted by Fowler, "You never know with Tim (former Florida QB TIm Tebow), " Thompson said. "You can bolt, you think he's running but he'll come up and pass it to you. You just have to be ready at all times. With Brantley, everything's with rhythm, time. You know what I mean, a real quarterback."
Fowler in his article attempts to explain the quote further, "Thompson's comment was either intentional or he meant to say Brantley's a more conventional style of quarterback.I've received plenty of feedback Tuesday from Thompson supporters vouching for the guy. I've interviewed Thompson numerous times in the past and he never said anything inflammatory."
Meyer confrontation an attempt to control what is written about the Florida program.
The confrontational approach Urban Meyer took with Fowler appeared to be a message to all the reporters standing there. A Meyer edict, issued to all within earshot and singling out Fowler who took the attack in stride, even offering an apology. The incident is posted on Jeremy Fowler's most recent blog (see here).
As the Florida Gator practice concluded, Meyer went straight for Jeremy Fowler with his finger wagging in Fowler's face. "If that was my son, we'd be going at it right now, " said Urban Meyer. Meyer
Meyer threatens to kick Orlando Sentinel reporters out of practice.
"You'll be out of practice. You understand that? If you do that again, " said Meyer, while a couple of spectators still sat in the stands. "I told you five years ago: Don't mess with our players. Don't do it. You did it. You do it one more time and the Orlando Sentinel's not welcome here ever again. Is that clear? It's yes or no." Meyer said waiting for an answer as if talking to a little child that had stolen a cookie.
Fowler, taken a back by the attack responded, "Urban, come on. Don't make any threats. That's fine. I'll play by rules. But all I was doing is quoting the guy. I don't think I was the only one."
"You're a bad guy."
"You're a bad guy, man, " Meyer said. "You're a bad guy." Meyer then turns to walk away then again heads in Fowler's direction once again wagging his finger at Fowler. "When you get a chance, call his family and let them know. Kid's never been in trouble one time, he's a great student, a great kid, and you're gonna do that?"
Urban Meyer, the man that threw a tantrum after losing to Alabama, announcing his retirement and then rescinding it a week later shouldn't be passing judgment on others. Meyer should get what he wants. If all the Florida media were smart they would not show up at Florida's practices for the next week, not write any stories for a week and then see that Meyer's stance is. Late March is a great time to take a vacation outside of Florida guys and then we won't have to see Meyer throw any tantrums from his Florida compound for at least a week.

Does my (Werewolf) novel sound any good?
I've been writing a novel for ages now about werewolves.
I've recently thought about giving it up -even though I'm close to finishing it- because I don't want it to be like Twilight.
My story is nothing like it but still... I'm really pissed off with Stephanie Meyer for creating such a shitty book like Twilight series, it's ruined the whole original werewolf and vampire ideas and turned them into something for f*cking fangirls to squeal about... Grr.
So now I feel like people won't be interested in my novel, because of that.
Please read my description of what happens.
In a nutshell, it's about a 'werewolf' boy in his late teens (Chase) who's been abused since childhood by his stepfather and stepbrother- not to mention most of the kids at his school.
Chase is in a stable current pack at this time. But you find out the gory history of his old pack as the story progresses. (YOU CAN EMAIL ME AND ASK ME ABOUT THIS IF YOU LIKE)
Everything goes badly for Chase in life.
He's pretty much a normal teenager apart from the lycan blood inside him.
He meets a girl (Ollie) and they seem the same. Outcasts in society.
She's an outcast because of her upper class family.
Chase is outcast because of his style and how he's different and "emo."
They get to know each other a little better. Chase becomes attached to her.
Ollie rejects him when Chase really likes her, over and over again he tries, yet she's not attracted to him in any way other than his sex appeal. After much sex they end up in a "relationship."
This relationship is not really special to Ollie, and is more about having someone to use for money and sex. Yet Chase doesn't see what she does, as his eyes are clouded by affection for her.
One day, things become sh*t with Ollie and things change, and whilst Chase is depressed he meets a boy and he genuinely and guiltily falls in love. (Andy)
Chase get's messed around and almost bullied by school kids and Ollie because of his attraction to the boy. Ollie's dark side comes out and she shows her nasty side.
He get's so pissed off with Ollie that one day when he's letting his anger out he spills his werewolf secret to her. His pack leader finds out that their secret is out in the open and orders Chase to kill his "girlfriend" and also Chase's human best friend Tama, who is also in on the secret.
He tries to change Ollie into a werewolf (which is the second option, rather than killing her) but little does he know that he's not like all the other werewolves, he has something which is more than wolf, taking over his body, slowly and painfully.
And this brings about a terrible end for many people in the future.
The rest is when the horror comes into it. The novel turns dark and evil from the point i've explained too. But hey, I don't want to spoil anything. Or anyone stealing my ideas. :P
That's all I'm going to say... Please tell me what you think.
